For Young People

Not sure where to start? The Youth & Family Engagement Center is a place to come when something isn’t working at home, at school, or somewhere else in your life. You can talk with someone about what is happening, get help with school, join activities or groups, work through problems with your family, or connect with other support. Youthworks also provides groups and programs in schools, so support doesn’t always have to happen in our building. We try to say yes when a youth or family asks for help. Sometimes that means we have a program that fits what you need. Sometimes it means helping you connect with someone else who can help. Call, email, or message Youthworks, or stop in and ask what support is available.

For Parents, Caregivers & Community Partners

The Youth & Family Engagement Center is a flexible place for youth and families to start when they need support. Families come with many different concerns, including family conflict, school challenges, behavior, relationships, and other circumstances affecting daily life. Services may include individual and family support, structured daytime programs, homework and school assistance, recreation and skill-building groups, school-based programs, and connections to community resources. The goal is to make it easier for families to find help. When another organization or service is a better fit, staff help make that connection rather than simply turning a family away. Youth and families can connect directly, and schools, providers, Human Service Zones, and other community partners can contact Youthworks to connect a family with support.
