Day Report

Structured after school support for youth referred through Juvenile Court or the Division of Juvenile Services.

Available in

Grand Forks

For Young People

Day Report is for youth who are already involved with Juvenile Court or the Division of Juvenile Services and are referred to Youthworks for additional structure and support. It isn’t school and it isn’t detention. You’ll spend time in a small group after school working on things that can help you move forward, which may include homework, decision-making, communication, handling conflict, job and life skills, recreation, and community service. Staff will get to know you, what you’re good at, what you’re working toward, and where you could use some support. The program gives you a consistent place to go, supportive adults in your corner, and opportunities to build skills while you work toward your goals. Day Report requires a referral through Juvenile Court or the Division of Juvenile Services. If you have questions about the program, you or an adult supporting you can contact Youthworks.

For Parents, Caregivers & Community Partners

Youthworks’ Day Report program provides structured after-school programs for youth referred through Juvenile Court or the Division of Juvenile Services. In a small-group environment, youth receive educational support, participate in community service and recreation, and build practical skills related to decision-making, communication, conflict, employment, and daily life. Staff identify strengths and goals with each youth while coordinating with the referring system and other important adults in the youth’s life. Day Report provides structure and accountability within a relationship-centered environment focused on helping youth build skills and move forward. Participation requires a Juvenile Court or Division of Juvenile Services referral. Contact Youthworks for program information or questions about the referral process.
